Sunday Walk

Yep you guessed it! It's yet another blog post about a walk in the country with my kiddies. That's what you do when you move back in with your parents (who happen to live out in the sticks) while your house is being demolished extended. You walk around, look at some sheep/cows/horses, take photos, step in their poo etc...

Besides its rather pretty...

So when the sun came out and hubby was back for weekend, I took them out for a walk to show off my home town's countryside. Actually I knew there was a walk in that general direction but didn't really know where we where heading...Like not a clue. Hubby said that didn't surprise him in the slightest. Charming!

Obviously I took photos the whole time.

Scenic view of village

View of planned route. Looks a little steeper than I imagined...

Poor Isaac we promised lots of sheep yet we couldn't see any!
Usually you cant take a step without knocking into a sheep or five.

Today the only fluffy friends we saw where these through my zoom lens when we reached the top of the hill. Some one must have warned them we were coming...

There was some pretty stuff up there to look at instead though...

ooh fluffy stuff...
The road less travelled...
Actually it leads to someone's house so it turns out its rather well used *oops*

Isaac got into the farmer spirit...

Although the country stile got the better of him...

Clearly he's not country enough to have a tractor yet...
He made it work though by acting as if he was only admiring the view anyway...

and what a view it was...

  3. Thank you for bringing us along on your walk. The shot of your Isaac with the straw in his mouth is priceless. I'm always impressed at how neat and organize the UK countryside looks when compared to the US.
