Mothers Day Weekend part II

Do you like how I claim the whole weekend? I do the same with birthdays too. If hubby is grumpy the day before my birthday day i'll say all wide eyed 'I can't BELIEVE you are grumpy on birthday Eve!' It never fails to gain a smurk. Same goes for the day after too. 'Are you really moody on birthday boxing day?!' *cue fake sob* and so forth... It applies for all occasions; anniversaries, valentines etc... I say why not stretch out a good thing?

So we packed in some fun stuff to make the most of mothers day weekend!

My card and some flowers for my garden that I haven't seen for nearly 2 months...

On Saturday I let Hubby play Rugby while me, my mum and Grandparents (I didn't forget it's their Mothers day weekend too) went to a place called Slimbridge which is full of ducks and birds. The weather was beautiful, the birds where a plenty and I suppose the bridges were slightly slim...

Feeding the ducks with Poppy...

This little Ducky clearly didnt want to talk...
Isaac was most excited about seeing the 'famigoos'

I spied some wee little ducklings making my voice go all cutesy and highpitched...
 Seriously cute no?
As with all animals, Ducks always get a little Frisky around me...
They are probably fighting over who gets to peck at my face...
Easy boys there's enough of Siany to go around...

Seriously, when did ducks get so pretty...?

There is also a really cool play area at this place...

After playing 'someone' (Nana) mentioned cake so off we went in search of naughtiness...

However on the way a swan spotted me and made it's moves *Cue Barry White sound track*

'Alright alright I get it you are majestic but there's a chocolate muffin with my name on it...'

On Sunday Hubby cooked roast Lamb and afterwards mum gave us her traditional semi frozen Dessert. She never gets it right and to be honest it would taste wrong if it wasn't still frozen. I have no picture of the dessert because it jumped into my mouth before my camera could be lifted...

Then we went to the garden centre to choose the above flowers. Returning home with some cool souvenirs

Happy Mothers day week everybody...
