bubbles and bikes...

What's better than bubbles?

 Hey I have some skill with the bubbles too...

 I seriously dig bubbles...

Saturday morning was a sunny crisp day so I texted my friend that we were headed to park if she and her little one fancied joining us, all impromptu like. She did, so we met up at the park with our bikes and scooters.

Isaac got a bike for his birthday but as of yet he can't get the hang of pedaling. He can pedal backwards but forwards is a whole other story. 

They also found a way cool den to play in...

 And a little climbing was done...

Valentines

Hey valentine kisses for everyone!

 The boys woke up to find little treats...

And our cards were handmade. It got messy...

The chocolaty treats were homemade too...

Don't be fooled, there was more eating than there was actual mixing...

Plus a post chocolate walk...

A game of pooh sticks...

A bit of weight lifting and pole vaulting...

Although I think Isaac needs to put a little more effort into his hide and seek hiding spots...

And quite frankly I can't get enough of finding pretty where there shouldn't be pretty to photograph...

That said I am looking forward to Spring. 

Then we don't have to worry about various hat malfunctions...

Don't worry we still had Larry the Lobster but he arrived a day late (a stay of execution if you will) so we ate him the next night instead. Good god he tasted good! Poor thing...

And a little sparkly...

Good things come to those who wait...

Doves circled our house for added sweetness this morning...

    As did some hot air balloons...

    Which naturally led to a short follow the balloons trip in the car...

    And a visit to the pet store (just to look!)...

Although I kind of really badly want a bunny now...

  Oh the fluffy cuteness...

A little snack...

    Then nap time...

    There was even a guy handling a snake *gulp*.

Lucas wasn't convinced. I did a great job of hiding my snake fear. Actually this snake was kind of beautiful I even touched it.

Spiders forget it! I'm still too scared of them. I steered the children right away from those. I couldn't even take a photo *shivers*
Moving on from that...
We then had a little look around the Garden Center/Craft area...

    I I can't wait for spring...

Then off home. We had to stop though for a quick photoshoot of some young fouls while hubby tried not to get shouted at for parking by a field. I'm sure he blamed his crazy wife...

OMG how cute is this little dude?

And i'm pleased to report no horses freaked out during this photo session which is highly unusual. Actually I have a few crazy horse stories but I think I'll save those for another day. A sweet day all round really.
