I know it's late but I can't not share our Easter activities with you.
You know how I get around holidays of any kind? I reaaaaally dig them...
We were away most of Easter so naturally the Easter Bunny kindly waited for us to return before making his visit. He's nice like that. He left little eggs around for the boys to find in the garden...And in those little eggs...
Were some little friends with little treats...
And not only that, hidden in the undergrowth was a bigger kind of treat...
Although the boys wanted to play with these big friends rather than eat them...
The little friends also had various adventures...
But big adventures still require nap time afterwards with snazzy sleeping bags included...
Night night little buddy...We also did some egg decorating...
Isaac went straight for the crush em to bits approach...
Lucas on the other hand preferred a slower more careful approach that required complete zen like concentration...
And these eggs weren't just pretty on the outside you know...
Isaac was all about eggs for like a week afterwards...
Dude I so love Easter x
My too.. sadly my nathan was away at his cousins house all easter. but i still ate choccie eggs.
ReplyDeletegreat to see your boys having a great time. X
And let be honest it's more about the chocolate anyway xxx
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful. I loved colouring eggs when I was a kid and have found it really crazy to facilitate as an adult (which surprises and doesn't surprise me). This year my husband got into the act of supervising, which meant I only had to provide the tools. It helps that the girls have actually figured out how to wax the eggs without crushing them too ... phew!
ReplyDeletei've yet to write my Easter post. Happy Easter Peep!
ReplyDeleteThose little fuzzy chicks are so precious! Glad you had an enjoyable Easter!
