Exciting news...

Okay okay i'll give.Time for our exciting news...Although I feel like I bigged it up too much...And it will be a let down...Anyway here goes nothing...

Here is our house...

Actually only half is our house...This half...

We love our house, our garden, our closeness to the boys school and to the woods. But it is a small house. The boys share a bedroom and the third bedroom is so small I use it as my office. If we have visitors stay over at least two people are sleeping on the floor. We often thought about moving but it was a reluctant thought...
Then this one magical day our neighbour put his house on the market. I rang hubby with butterflies in my stomach and said you are going to think i'm crazy but...He didn't think I was crazy though, he wanted to buy it as badly as me. Long story short we are in the process of buying it!
The plan is to renovate, rent it out and then one day knock through and make one big super house/bat cave.Is it weird that I am most excited about sorting out this garden?... (our garden currently is on the right)
I mean its an absolute jungle in there but one day it could be a massive vegetable patch/herb garden?
And the front garden too...(ours currently on the left)

And job number one will be to chop these mothers down! They take all our light in the afternoon and drain the soil for all my surrounding plants...
The inside needs a lot of work. It needs to be totally redecorated and a new kitchen put in. We would want to get it rentable as quick as possible. Since Lucas will be starting school full time in September and I will be totally lost, this is going to be my job. My new baby if you will.I have a lot to learn and a lot to do, so as is my new mantra these days.I can't wait, can't wait, can't wait...
At the moment it is sold to us subject to contract. Things could fall through, anything could happen. So I have to be patient and I have to wait. You know how good I am at that.*ahem* in no way at all...
So keep your fingers and everything else crossed for me and I will keep you updated...
