Right here, right now...

My garden is teaching me so much about myself and how to approach life so I'm retreating there. To step off the ride and put my feet back firmly on the ground. It's teaching me that: What is growing in front of me right now is a direct reflection of the work and preparation I put in previously...
I just had to be patient...

Each year I learn a little more and I do a little better. I can't do and know it all in one giant leap...

Slow down, take it in...

Perfection is impossible and trying to achieve it is for me destructive. Lean into the nature of how things already are. That's where the real beauty lies...

Embrace failure, that's how you learn and move forward. I battle with this daily.Look at all you have done rather than everything still yet to do. In a garden and in life there is always always more to do...

Creating things soothes the soul...

And most importantly have fun...

Really exciting things to tell you about, but first. Let's just enjoy all this...
Right here, right now...

  2. This was a wonderful post Sian- I think I am feeling the same way these days- racing but standing still...and yes, each year we learn more. I am learning how patient and strong I have been- hoping that the next few months will infuse a little creativity and "easiness" for me. Eager and excited to hear about your news. Your images are beautiful as always.
    Have a lovely week
