Accidental blog holiday and Lorna Doone

This half term we went to visit family in Woolacombe which was so much fun but went way too quickly for my liking. By far the highlight of the whole trip was our trip to Exmoor National Park. We walked a part that is known as Lorna Doone Country...It is a wild and woolly place...

And we only saw a fraction of it really.

Isaac was determined to find some wild ponies or a herd of deer...
He desperately searched high and low...
Whereas Lucas was just happy to bounce around seeing what's what...

Luckily Isaac didn't have to wait too long for his wild animals...

Completely wild and free. It doesn't get better than that...
Actually it did, we saw a herd of deer running by in the distance but I was too excited to get a picture. Isaac was beyond happy though. Why hello magical valley...
We enjoyed finding you. Yep we NEED to come back here and explore this place some more. I also really want to read Lorna Doone...

  4. It's amazing how such a relatively small island can have such disparate environments. Your pics are lovely as per your ushe. :)

  5. SO beautiful- such wide open spaces...I can see the wind. Gorgeous scenery and sweet horses. Great to see the kiddos stretch out like that.
